One thing I agree with from a previous poster is that when you comment on this site, I think its pretty stupidto waste time talking about how much you like the song if you're not goingto bother analyzing it's meaning. I think that it may possibly be about falling in love with a best friend. I saw a few references to motif like 'fashion monster' things that she has mentioned in interviews before. If she did say it was about a best friend, I think that the issue has to do with the fact that she deeply wants the guy, she's in love with him, but something isn't right. He's a bit of a psycho, sick, something like that, and part of her hates him and part of her knows it only ends in disaster, but she wants it anyways. And she knows that he knows she wants him. Main Story Line The video starts with Gaga emerging from what looks like a high-tech coffin or maybe a sensory deprivation tank. At the beginning of the video, she is deprived of her senses. She fights them but she finally accepts her fate and even raises her hands in praise.
